Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Day 1 – Manali To Chika Via Jobra (Jobra 9,800ft to Chika 10,100 ft.)
Day 2 – Chika to Balu ka Ghera Altitude :-10,100ft to 11,900ft
Day 3 – Balu ka Ghera to Siagoru, Crossing(Hampta Pass)
Day 4 – Siagoru to Chatru drive to Chandratal

- Day 01: Manali to Chika via Jobra
- The trek starts from Manali to Jobra by vehicle, reaching an altitude of 9,800 ft.
- The trek begins from Allain Guhugal Hydel Project junction through a pine forest.
- Chika campsite is a spacious green patch by the Rani River, ideal for setting up tents.
- Day 02: Chika to Balu ka Ghera
- The trail follows the left bank of the river through boulders and rhododendron trees.
- Jwara is a scenic valley with melting snow, grazing cattle, and breathtaking views.
- Balu ka Ghera campsite is a flat ground at 11,900 ft, surrounded by mountains.
- Day 03: Balu Ka Ghera to Siagoru via Hampta Pass
- The trek reaches its highest point at Hampta Pass (14,100 ft).
- The climb is steep but rewards with stunning panoramic views.
- The descent to Siagoru is steep and challenging, requiring careful navigation.
- Siagoru campsite is in a peaceful valley by the river.
- Day 04: Siagoru to Chatru
- The trek to Chatru is an easy downhill walk through barren mountains.
- Care is needed on slippery trails and glacier crossings before reaching Chatru.
- Chatru is a beautiful camping site at the confluence of Hampta, Rohtang, and Spiti.
- Day 05: Chatru to Manali (Drive)
- A 7-hour scenic drive from Chatru to Manali marks the end of the trek.
- Departure from Manali to Delhi is recommended after 6:00 PM.
- Chandratal Lake (Optional)
- Chandratal Lake, known as the “Moon Lake,” is 45 km from Chatru.
- A visit is possible on Day 4 or 5, weather permitting.
What to Pack
- Backpack: A comfortable and sturdy backpack is essential to carry all your gear and supplies during the trek.
- Clothing: Pack warm and waterproof clothing, including thermal innerwear, a fleece jacket, a waterproof jacket, and a hat and gloves.
- Footwear: Good quality trekking shoes are a must, as the trek involves a lot of walking over uneven terrain, along with an extra pair of socks.
- Hydration: A hydration system, such as a hydration bladder or water bottles, is important to stay hydrated during the trek.
- Food and snacks: Pack enough food and snacks to last for the duration of the trek, including energy bars and dried fruits.
- Emergency medical supplies: Pack a basic first-aid kit containing essential items like pain relievers, bandages, and antiseptic ointments for any unexpected medical emergencies during the trek.
- Lighting equipment: A headlamp or flashlight is indispensable for moving around in low-light conditions.

- Accommodation: All camping equipment like sleeping bags, tents, and sleeping mats will be provided during the trek. The tents are usually shared between 3-4 people.
- Meals: All meals during the trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening tea) are included in the package. The food is simple and nutritious, with a mix of Indian and continental cuisine.
- Trekking Staff: Experienced trek leaders, guides, and support staff ensure a safe and enjoyable trekking experience.
- Transportation: Transport from the starting point to the endpoint of the trek is usually included in the package. (Manali)
- First-aid: A basic first-aid kit is usually carried during the trek for emergencies.

- Personal expenses: Any personal expenses such as bottled water, energy drinks, snacks, and alcohol are not included in the package.
- Travel insurance: Travel insurance is not usually included in the package and it is the responsibility of the trekker to arrange their own insurance coverage.
- Emergency evacuation costs: In case of a medical emergency, the cost of evacuation (e.g., helicopter rescue) is not usually covered in the package and is the responsibility of the trekker.
- Others: Any other service not mentioned above in trek inclusions.
