Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Day 2 – Sankri to Juda ka Talab
Day 3 – Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base
Day 4 – Kedarkantha Base to Kedarkantha Peak; descend to Juda ka Talab
Day 5 – Juda ka Talab to Sankri; same day return to Dehradun
Tour Plan
- Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri
- Drive Route: Dehradun – Mussoorie – Purola – Mori – Sankri
- Drive Duration & Distance: 6-7 hours, approximately 200 km
- Stay Type: RS base camp at Sankri Village in Guest House (triple and quad sharing basis)
- Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab
- Trek Distance: 4 km
- Altitude: 2,700 meters
- Highlights: Trek through lush forests and meadows, reaching Juda Ka Talab, a pristine lake surrounded by nature.
- Stay: Camp before the serene Juda Ka Talab.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Accommodation Type: Triple or quad sharing in Alpine/Dome tent.
- Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Base Camp
- Trek Distance: 4 km
- Altitude: 3,400 meters
- Highlights: Gradual ascent through enchanting oak forests towards the Kedarkantha Base, with stunning views of snow-capped peaks.
- Stay: Overnight at Kedarkantha Base Camp.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Accommodation Type: Triple or quad sharing in Alpine/Dome tent.
- Day 4: Base Camp to Summit Push and Back to Juda Ka Talab
- Trek Distance: 6 km
- Altitude: Peak at 3,850 meters
- Highlights: Summit the Kedarkantha Peak with breathtaking panoramic views before descending to Juda Ka Talab.
- Stay: Overnight at Juda Ka Talab Camp.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Accommodation Type: Triple or quad sharing in Alpine/Dome tent.
- Day 5: Juda Ka Talab to Sankri & Drive Back to Dehradun
- Trek Distance: 4 km (Descent from Juda Ka Talab to Sankri)
- Drive Time: 7-8 hours (Reach Dehradun by approximately midnight)
- Highlights: Bid farewell to the mountains and trekking companions on the return journey.
- Meals: Breakfast in Sankri/Juda Ka Talab.
