Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. DAY 1 – Manali To Chika Via Jobra (Jobra 9,800ft to Chika 10,100 ft.)
DAY 2 – Chika to Balu ka Ghera Altitude :-10,100ft to 11,900ft
Tour Plan
- Day 1 – Bhagsunag To Karthani (700 meters below Triund Top) via Bhagsu Waterfall
- Trek distance: 7 km (approx)
- Trek duration: 3 to 4 hours
- Starting point: Bhagsunag Taxi Stand
- Pass through deodar, oak, fir, and rhododendron forests
- Scenic views of Bhagsu waterfall, Shiva café, Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala city, and Kangra valley
- Steep and rocky ascent, requiring good physical condition
- Trail marked with red and white paint
- Small tea stalls along the way for lunch and water refills
- Arrive at Karthani camp (base of Triund) with breathtaking mountain views
- Sunset at Triund with a panoramic view of vibrant colors in the sky
- Possible campfire session and dinner (weather and forest department permitting)
- Overnight stay at Karthani camp in tents
- Day 2 – Karthani Camp to Triund Top and return trek to Bhagsunag
- Trek distance: 1 km (Karthani to Triund Top uphill) and 8 km (Triund Top to Bhagsunag downhill)
- Trek duration: 4 to 5 hours
- Early morning hike from Karthani to Triund Top (1-hour trek)
- Experience stunning sunrise views and explore Triund Top
- Begin descent towards Bhagsunag, passing through beautiful forests and mountain landscapes
- Enjoy the journey back to Mcleodganj with reflections on the trek experience.
What to Pack
